Work Location & Hybrid Model

Your Role & Responsibilities
As part of the Business Administration Apprenticeship, you will undergo an 18-month training program that will prepare you for the role of a Case Owner within the Mortgages & Financial Wellbeing function. This experience will help you build the knowledge, technical expertise and professional network needed to succeed in the field.
You will be enrolled in the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, which provides a well-rounded learning experience by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical workplace skills. The goal is to help you develop into a proactive professional who can efficiently manage administrative tasks, prioritize work responsibilities and drive process improvements.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will cultivate strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You will gain confidence in managing business priorities while acquiring problem-solving capabilities. Additionally, you will be trained to develop innovative business strategies, oversee operations, manage interdepartmental coordination and handle administrative responsibilities such as planning, record-keeping and quality control.
Your apprenticeship is delivered in collaboration with BPP, ensuring that you receive structured training alongside your practical experience.
As a Case Owner, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and processing mortgage applications efficiently
- Independently analyzing customer financial documents to assess affordability
- Liaising seamlessly with customers, brokers and solicitors to facilitate the mortgage process
- Providing end-to-end support throughout the mortgage journey, from the initial application stage to the final repayment or redemption of the mortgage
Your training will ensure that you become highly competent in managing mortgage cases while also developing the ability to handle customer inquiries and problem resolution effectively.

Entry Requirements
To qualify for this Business Administration Apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Right to work in the UK – If you are not a British citizen, your visa or immigration status must cover the entire duration of the apprenticeship (minimum 20 months)
- Residency requirement – You must have been living in the UK or an EEA country for the past three years
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship or government-funded program
- Academic Qualifications:
- Under 19 years old: A minimum of two GCSEs at grades A-C (9-4) in Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
- Over 19 years old (as of October 2025): No requirement to hold or achieve English and Maths qualifications to complete the apprenticeship
Additionally, this role requires that you spend at least 50% of your working time physically present in England.
